Recycling workshop puts children in touch with music

Children and adolescents Jardim Damascene Brasilândia participated on Valentine’s Day in a workshop to create musical instruments, Space Art in the Street. The instruments were produced with recycled materials such as coffee cans, cereal, powdered milk and bottle caps.
The event was organized by the Office of Sustainability, in partnership with the PAVS (Sustainable Green Project) of the Department of Health guidance activities was led by managing Fabiana Sansone, who accompanied the children and adolescents in every joke. “We think of a way to work with the children something that really interested him and that we could bring welfare and culture,” he says.
Approximately 30 people, including children, adolescents and PAVS team participated in the workshop.

Besides the manufacture of musical instruments, games and interaction happened concepts of musical compass, pace and time.
It is the first time that the workshop receives support from a company in projects and workshops. The producer of Illy coffees donated cans for making musical instruments, were prepared for the music class with integral PAVS, Rogerio Lima.
